Come join the TurboTax Marketing Strategy Team as a senior Staff Marketing Manager on the Assisted Tax business.
We are looking for a senior Marketing Manager who will drive the development of the go to market plan, working with our partners in research, design, product, finance, marketing channels, analytics and customer success in a highly collaborative and influential role. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of strategic vision, communication skills, collaborative mindset, and go to market launch experience — having worked in highly cross-functional, dynamic environments crafted to move with velocity. We’re looking for a candidate who has a track-record of results delivery and will be someone who is energized by a transformation story and reinventing the status quo. The role needs a bold thinker with new ideas that can change perceptions and behaviors to make TurboTax known as the brand of choice.
Responsibilities
- Develop and drive the execution of the 1-year marketing plan for your Assisted Tax and contribute to the 3-year plan
- Leverage customer insights, competitive understanding, and analytics data to unlock growth opportunities and influence product and messaging roadmaps; ensure we’re applying the right level of strategic rigor in decision making
- Leverage the appropriate learning strategies, including qualitative and quantitative consumer research and A/B testing to roll-out experiences and creative that deliver improved business outcomes
- Develop clear messaging and creative briefs that translate customer insights into impactful benefits and reasons to believe
- Evaluate creative execution and provide constructive feedback to design teams in both advertising and through the end-to-end customer experience
- Establish metrics for success, inform and interpret A/B test results and drive recommendations for improvements
- Own the business outcomes for your specific marketing programs, connect them to overall business performance This includes establishing KPIs to measure performance, actively analyze business data to generate insights and share with leaders and make informed decisions that drive business results
Qualifications
- 8+ years professional experience in marketing or product management
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered
- Proven experience leading and influencing cross-functional teams to deliver winning growth strategies AND inspiring excellent execution through cross-functional teams
- Solid written and verbal skills to communicate program objectives, recommendations, and results to cross-functional teams and senior leadership
- Demonstrated high levels of ownership, responsibility, initiative and the desire to drive significant, measurable performance results
- Track record of making principled, data-based business decisions balanced with strong ability to manage ambiguity
- Strong experience uncovering new qualitative and quantitative customer insights and leveraging deep empathy to drive decisions and influence E2E customer experiences
- Robust data analysis and problem-solving skills, with clear examples of using data in hypothesis driven testing, test result analysis and making recommendations
- Spanish fluency is a plus
- Hybrid role with 2-3 days required in office
Ó£»¨¶¯Âþ provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Southern California $144,500 - 195,000. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at .
