Come join the Consumer Group Strategy Team (CBS) as a Group Manager of Growth Strategy. Our team focuses on crafting the long-term vision and growth strategies for of CG in collaboration with senior leadership and works across CG Priority cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

  • Partners with CG Sr. Leadership team, Priority sponsors and BizOps to define our CG 5/3/1 year business strategy 
  • Partner with sponsor(s) of top Strategic Focus Areas to ensure we are moving as one team.  Examples of this include ensuring a cohesive business strategy for Assisted Tax (Full Service, Verified Pro and Business Tax) and defining the next horizon of money/consumer finance platform strategy
  • Drives results across organizational boundaries – working with other CG teams the teams within the CG Strategy (CBS) team like Insights, Competitive
  • Look for ways to grow our ecosystem beyond current.  Lead initial work for new and future launches for CG (before handing over to the enduring team).  Prior year examples include TT Verified Pro and Business Tax
  • Provides thought leadership and analytical horsepower to important business decisions.
  • Lead exploratory work at direction of SLT and support broader CG projects
  • Focus a performance culture and mentors the members of team to realize their full potential.
  • Develops and applies highly effective team operating mechanisms to achieve business objectives and continued growth
  • Ensures speed, quality and shared vision by getting the right people involved in decisions.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of work experience
  • Experience with a top-tier strategy consulting firm or in a respected operating company’s strategy function preferred
  • Excellent strategic problem solving, influencing and results orientation
  • Ability to both lead strategy as well as support (or lead) implementation
  • Strong communications (written/verbal), presentation and facilitation skills
  • Well-rounded interpersonal skills with the capacity to build trust-based relationships with teammates and cross-Ó£»¨¶¯Âþ teams to drive outcomes
  • Highly self-motivated and willing to proactively take on leadership roles within project
  • Ó£»¨¶¯Âþ's working model is hybrid, with 2-3 days per week in office.

Ó£»¨¶¯Âþ provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is New York $205500 - $277500, Bay Area California $207000-280000, Southern California $193500-261500. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at . Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
