This includes a number of money movement services, as well as, employee management solutions.
As a Staff Marketing Manager on the Lifecycle Transformation Group, you will be responsible for driving cross functional initiatives that support the US Marketing organization and strategic annual goals that help accelerate growth of QuickBooks service offerings. This individual will identify new business opportunities to optimize critical conversion funnels by leveraging funnel analytics & insights, identifying points of friction in the customer experience and developing an end to end omni channel strategy and learning plan. You will lead highly visible efforts which ladder up to Ó£»¨¶¯Âþ’s strategic corporate input goals, while partnering across sales, marketing, customer success, analytics, product, billing and technology teams.
Responsibilities
- Driving end to end strategy development for cross functional mission teams focused on strategic projects that across multiple teams to deliver highly optimized experiences across GBSG across all phases of planning and execution for key experiments & learning plans.
- Partner with internal analytics teams to develop consistent funnel views and insights to understand key steps in the customer journey and potential drop off points
- Build business cases and drive development of new business opportunities using qualitative & quantitative data that can delivery in year marketing goals & forecasts
- Serve as the marketing driver and central point of contact to quarterback multi disciplinary mission teams and run key meetings with stakeholders including setting agendas, raising blockers, recapping open action items and determining prioritization.
- Integrate insights to develop learning plans for newly discovered business opportunities with data-backed hypotheses, experimentation plans to iteratively learn with speed and consistent measurement across multiple channels (in product messaging, email, SMS, web, sales, CX)
- Collaborate with Technical Program Managers (TPMs) & Product Managers on tech dependencies across key initiatives to ensure timely delivery of business goals, including development of business requirements, identifying key use cases, outlining key business outcomes.
- Influence platform roadmaps for key marketing technologies and collaborate with Product Managers on establishing governance principles, process and communications.
- Understand channel qualitative (market research, voice of customer) and quantitative metrics (subscriptions, revenue, engagement) and translate to governance mechanisms & technology enhancements to drive channel improvements.
- Set and meet deadlines for execution plans to ensure timely delivery by partner teams and effectively adapting and modifying learning plans based on changing conditions or data.
- Running internal team standups to raise key priorities on a weekly or monthly basis, anticipate and communicate risks and proactively manage the risks with the internal team before they become project blockers.
- Anticipate, recognize, and work through resistance or setbacks, work well with others when conflicts arise, ensure alignment with objectives, find common ground and promote understanding of alternative viewpoints before driving for closure and cooperation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with 7+ years of experience leading cross-functional or complex projects and programs, preferably in Growth Marketing roles
- Required: Experience developing business cases and defining growth initiatives across multiple channels (Web, In Product, Email, SMS, Sales, CS) and lifestages (acquisition, cross-sell, up-sell, retention, win back)
- Proven ability to quickly earn the trust of sponsors and key stakeholders; mobilize and motivate teams; set direction and approach; resolve conflict; execute with limited information and ambiguity.
- Strong organization, time management and task prioritization skills. Must be an exceptional planner who is highly organized with attention to detail, self-directed, efficient and able to manage complex programs in a timely manner
- Excellent verbal, written, visual/presentation and interpersonal communication skill and leverage storytelling principles to deliver effective communications to leadership.
- Ability to make decisions quickly & communicate effectively within a large and diverse organization is essential
- Excellent leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix environment and ability to both influence and develop strong partnerships at all levels
- Comfortable analyzing diverse sets of quantitative and qualitative data to develop insights; simplify stories with data, be concise in the insights and how they drive hypotheses and outcomes with leadership
- Ability to communicate objectives, plans, status and results clearly, focusing on critical few key points.
- High intellectual curiosity and a growth mindset who has a bias towards action
- Proficiency with Project Management software (GitHub, JIRA, Confluence, Smarsheets), Google docs, Excel and other communication tools
Ó£»¨¶¯Âþ provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Bay Area California $151,000-204,500. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at .
