Responsibilities
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced communicator to lead our content & executive thought leadership as part of Ó£»¨¶¯Âþ’s Corporate Communications team. This role will be responsible for building best-in-class executive thought leadership that includes platform development for key C-level executives, in support of the company narrative. Working in tight partnership with the PR and Executive Communications leads, they will also create external content strategies for key executives, as well as develop high-quality content on behalf of them targeting employees, customers, media, and shareholders. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent writing skills, deep business acumen, and an understanding of relevant industry topics. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a best-in-class executive thought leadership strategy that uses innovative and creative approaches that support our business goals and objectives.
- Develop executive thought leadership platforms for several C-suite executives by collaborating with internal team and subject matter experts, along with bringing in industry themes and external research and data: work in partnership with executive communicators to activate these platforms for C-level executives.
- Create great executive content, including long-form and social content, industry speeches, and talking points as well as employee communications like emails and video scripts to help tell our company story.
- Create and contribute content to key company disclosures, including the annual report, proxy letters, and the annual Corporate Responsibility and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion report.
- Evolve and update the company narrative and company level messaging to help ensure consistency of messages across all audiences and channels.
- Monitor company, executive, and industry trends and news to help ensure our content is relevant and timely.
- Measure and analyze the performance of content to continuously improve and optimize our strategy.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of proven experience in corporate communications and executive content development.
- Experience developing executive platforms and building sophisticated thought leadership capabilities.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Ability to translate business strategies into compelling narratives.
- Ability to think strategically and develop creative content ideas
- Ability to find unique and ownable angles for executives that are authentic to them, support our company narrative and tie into external themes and trends.
- Ability to learn and adapt to different voice and tone needs from an executive.
- Experience working with senior industry influencers and thought leaders, including C-level executives.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using content management systems, AI and marketing automation tools.
Ó£»¨¶¯Âþ provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Bay Area California $184,500 - 249,500, Southern California $174,000 - 235,500. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at . Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
