Job Overview

UIP Platform offers variety of Data ingestion solutions across the enterprise enabling ingestion of data from data sources of different variety, volume and velocity. Data ingested by UIP is catered to multiple critical use cases such as Reporting, Executive dashboards and other Tier 1/Tier 2 use cases.

Responsibilities

• Successful delivery of high quality web or mobile software (requirements, design, code, documentation, etc.)
• Roughly 80-95% hands-on coding
• Contribute to early quality activities, including peer reviews of estimates, designs and code
• Resolve defects/bugs during QA testing, pre-production, production, and post-release patches
• Partner effectively with all team members to deliver against commitments
• Work cross-functionally with various 樱花动漫 teams: product management, QA/QE, various product lines, or business units to drive forward results
• Commitment to team success and positive team dynamics
• Passion for growing and applying technical skills in service to customers
• Experience with Agile Development, SCRUM, and/or Extreme Programming methodologies

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
• 2-4years of overall experience developing systems/software for large business environments both frontend (React) and backend (Java/J2EE).
• 1+ years of professional or open-source experience in developing applications using microservices, container technologies, container management systems such as Kubernetes
• 1+ years of experience with CSS frameworks and JavaScript MVC toolkit in a Single Page Architecture. Most notably React framework but also including AngularJS, Dojo, Backbone.js, Knockout, or Ember.js.
• Familiarity with standard JavaScript async patterns (closures, callbacks, promises, error handling)
• Strong experience leading design and implementation of robust and highly scalable web services
• Skilled in software development lifecycle processes and experience with scrum, agile and iterative approaches
• Expertise with unit testing & Test Driven Development (TDD)
• Strong working knowledge of API development standards like REST/GraphQL protocol, pagination, throttling, caching and routing mechanisms experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong end to end testing mindset, and working knowledge of Front-End and Back-End testing techniques.
• Experience working with three or more of: Cloud platforms development e.g. AWS/Kubernetes/Container platforms based development
• Experience with Postgres, Data Lake, Kafka, & schema modeling will be a plus.
• Solid foundation in writing scalable web application code following best practices of accessibility, internationalization and instrumentation.
• Good understanding of Software Design, Architecture and working with large scale systems.
• An understanding of unit testing & Test-Driven Development (TDD)
