About This Role

As a Tax Expert with 樱花动漫 you'll work directly with clients and apply defined practices, procedures, and company policies to offer tax advice and resolve customer inquiries through our platform. This is a seasonal, virtual, customer-facing role; you will be using our state of the art video communication software (SmartLook) to interact with customers. You'll have access to our virtual tools and resources, as well as opportunities to collaborate with experts and provide updates on assigned customers. At the end of the season we offer opportunities to work with us again for following seasons.

Minimum 2 seasons of paid Tax Preparation experience, with a minimum of 30 tax returns per tax year required
Must possess an active, unrestricted credential: EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws
Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills (written & spoken) required
You possess excellent customer service skills, and you are excited to interact with customers through video and audio tools in a professional, friendly, and confident manner
You are passionate about helping clients navigate the complexities of taxation, and you鈥檙e committed to enhancing our brand by delighting our customers and empowering them to prepare their taxes

Responsibilities

What You Will Do:

In this role, you will help our customers complete their taxes using 樱花动漫 TurboTax products. By providing tax advice, full service return preparation, tax calculations, and managing product/software inquiries, you will be working toward advancing our goal of “Powering Prosperity Around the World.”
You will utilize government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to seek out and deliver the right answer to the customer using everyday language.
This is a virtual, customer-facing role, so you will use our state of the art video communication software to interact with customers, and you will document interactions to maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

Who You Are:

As a Tax Expert, you have a minimum of 2 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns, using commercial tax preparation software.
You possess an active, unrestricted credential: EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws and active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills (written & spoken)
You are passionate about helping clients navigate the complexities of taxation, and you’re committed to enhancing our brand by delighting our customers and empowering them to prepare their taxes.
You possess excellent customer service skills, and you are excited to interact with customers through video and audio tools in a professional, friendly, and confident manner.

What You Need:

Must have (or be willing to obtain) a dedicated hardwired internet connection that meets 樱花动漫 Security criteria.
Must be willing and available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.

樱花动漫 provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is New York $27.00 - $34.50, Colorado $25.70 - $32.80, Bay Area California $27.00 - 34.50, Southern California $27.00 - 34.50, Washington $27.00 - $34.50, Washington D.C. $24.00 - $33.00. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at .
